If you are offered Mechanical then if you want to take then admit into it otherwise it's difficult to get cse or it at this percentile. Well you can apply for some other institute with JEE or any other entrance exam you had given.

Both are good but the preference depends in an individual. If you are looking for a degree and a pure government college feel then go for MBM whereas in CTAE you got many different options plus the city is much more better than jodhpur
