National Institute of Technology Patna
Hey Manas!
If you want to secure a minimum mark to secure to get into NIT, Patna that is approx 150 out of 360. But, it's procedure has been changed already because national council has decided that admission will be done through the entrance exam of NTA that is known as National Testing Agency.
Thank You!
Mostly yes. Because at 150 marks out of 300 IN MAINS as per the previous year analysis, gives you a rank between 22 thousand to 29 thousand. And nit Patna had closing rank cutoff of 29652 rank for the home state. So you'll be able to get into computer science engineering comfortably guess so.
To know the cutoffs of other streams of NIT PATNA, refer to the following website...

Best wishes. Thank-you.
See marks will keep fluctuating year to year. Because they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc. So you can rely on the basis of ranks. I'll guide you with that. In 2017, the closing rank cutoff for btech CSE in NIT PATNA was 7,229 rank for general unreserved category. Obviously you haven't mentioned your category so I'm assuming you belong to unreserved General category. In 2016, it had a closing rank cutoff of 16569.
To know about the cutoffs of CSE in various other NITS available and to get a detailed information, do refer to our website..

Hello,
try to score as high as possible. there is no particular number to it. for home state it will be near to 1K and for open state it will be below 500. Demand of CSE and ECE is high so rank bar for both is very low which makes it more difficult to crack.
try to score 80% of total marks which is a safe place. as there are many campus of NIT. you will get into one for sure.
Try to solve as many questions possible and if there is any negative marking then don't do guess work in that section.
Hope it helps!
