Hello Arihant,
Your percentile in any exam is a measure of your performance with respect to other candidates who applied for the exam. It will tell you how many students are below or equal to u in the competitive exam. This percentile determines your all India rank, which in turn determines your admission into various colleges. You can use the following careers360 link to predict your rank in JEE MAINS.

Hello Aryan
You will get this branch with 95-96+ percentile score.( May vary depending upon exact conditions and situation like number of candidates ; your exact rank etc.)
Admission is totally based on the rank and this year rank will depend upon your percentile score.
And you should secure rank under 60 thousand and 7000 category rank for this seat.
Good luck
Hii .Your percentile is good.As you said you are interested in Metallurgy then you should take admission in this college but the thing is its placements is not so good and if placed the job environment is not so good. You can try for NIT Jamshedpur as TATA Steel visits there. So,it depends on you.
hello priyansh, i would like to tell you to just focus on your exams and on what you want to do in future. just for the sake going into NIT with any branch is not suitable, you can also get into other good colleges as well. But if you have interest in any of the field mentioned in the answer below then you should go for it.
all the best.

Hi dear,
All NITs take admission in the basis of JEE main rank.So it will be better if you ask on the basis of JEE main rank.According to previous year trend you have a chance to get all three NITs.Last year cutoff for NIT KURUKSHETRA was 6k NIT RAIPUR was 9k and NIT Uttarakhand was 4k in you category.
Hope it helps
Helloo...
Your approximate rank will be around 74,260.
This was done by our rank predictor formula
(100-percentile)*874469/100.
For this rank you will get the seat in Nit Raipur in branches like biomedical engineering, chemical engineering and biotechnology Engineering.
You will not get mech or ece with this rank. Not to worry you will be having one more chance in April and I request you to improve your percentile so that you will be having more chances to get the seat in the branch you wish .

Hello lata
Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for colleges of JEE mains and for jee advance based on percentile. You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.But to be honest, you won't get IIIT hyderabad with this score,at all. With this rank, you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting and also the advance cut off.But remember this is not the final rank.It will change based on the april session of mains. To further predict colleges visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor .Hope this helps.
Good Luck
