National Institute of Technology Silchar
It is difficult to talk in terms of marks in JEE main, so we will talk in terms of JEE Main All India Rank. For Computer Science branch at NIT Silchar, last year cutoff for EWS category Home state candidate was around 5000. While for Electronics and Communication branch, it was around 9000 and around 13000 for Civil branch at NIT Silchar.
So, scoring ranks under 12000 will definitely fetch you one of the branches you mentioned at NIT Silchar easily.

To get an idea about marks required, you can check the previous years' marks v/s ranks and get an idea about the same.
Hope it helps.
hi,
see adamas university is good for btech courses as well as bba course, however placement is quite good for bba, the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. however I would recommend you to go for mba courses to better colleges like iim kolkata, iiswbm, or other tier 1 colleges of india.
As per your score and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get in computer engg. in third or mop up round are:-
NIT Silchar
NIT Manipur
NIT Arunachal Pradesh
NIT Sikkim

I hope this answer will help. All the best for the future!!
Hello!
Nit silchar and nit jamshedpur, both are good for Cse branch as they have 100% placements. But for EE (electrical engineering) nit jamshedpur is better than nit silchar. The placements are above avg in both the colleges but the highest placements figure in nit jamshedpur is higher. Not many companies come for campus in nit silchar for EE. If you're in top 5-10 in nit silchar, you've good chances to land in PSUs. Nit silchar has a good campus but nit jamshedpur has location advantage.
I hope this helps
Hello Aspirant,
As you wanted to get admission in MBA you have to write entrance exam for it like tancet, cat ,gmat to get seat in the Good colleges and to get seat for 42 percentile you have less chances to get seat in that college or university but lets hope for the best
To get seat in that college so study well and work hard to get good marks in the good colleges or universities and ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.
NIT's MAT cutoff percentile is very high compared to some top B Schools. A minimum percentile of 90 is needed to get a call from NIT Silchar. With 42 percentile in MAT, there are very less chances to get into NIT Silchar for MBA.

without GATE a non-IITian or NIT-ian cannot get M.Tech in any of the government colleges.
Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 22759.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100
where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session. In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then you can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.
Now, your category rank will be in between 5514-7164.Considering 2019 cut off trends you may get seat in the following branches
In NIT, Agartala
In NIT, Silchar
In NIT, Patna
These are the branches in which you may get seat. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.
