how many students appeared in neet 2020 phase 2 ? what will be expected cut off ? what is the expected cut off for up state?

Abhishek Khurana 15th Oct, 2020

Hello Student

According to a NTA official it is said that a total of 200 students appeared for the NEET 2020 phase 2 which was conducted on 14 of October 2020.

So according to experts this shouldnot not disturb the Cutoff as already it is expected to be very high this year which might even reach to 600 ,but we should always hope for he best as anything can happen.

At this moment not much can be said about the cutoff of the U.P. state but it was approx 573 in the NEET 2019 for the Gen Category and 637 for KGMU and 628 for RMLIMS .

You can read this article about the cutoff of NEET 2020:-

my mark is 270 in neet 2020 and belongs to bc category in tamilnadu can i get seat in private colleges either gov / management quota in less fees ...min 17lakh

ABHIK SHAW 15th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Based upon your marks, you have chances for private colleges and there are no chances for government colleges. Management quota may come in handy for you for admission in private colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Now regarding the fee structure for management quota, the fees are generally 2-3 times higher than the original admission fees. It depends for various colleges.

Would suggest you to use our college predictor to predict your colleges -

Ive got 515 marks in neet 2020 and from general category , can i get a seat in afmc?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020
Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 515 marks you may not get a seat in A FMC

For example,

In 2019 , 596 marks was required  for boys and 610 marks in neet was required for girls to get into AFMC

To get the  list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

can anybody tell that by how many marks neet 2020 cutoff will increase for obc category of tamilnadu state?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

In 2019, Cut offs in Tamilnadu increased on an average by 70-100 marks. We cannot predict the exact number because cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. This year with longer time for preparation we are expecting the number to go by atleast 50. Ive scored 467 marks in Neet 2020, category OBC, AIR115142 , MP state rank 3257. Is there any chances of getting a private medical college in the 2nd round counselling or mop up round?

Sowmya Konkala 24th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

As of now it's tough to say which college you can get because the cutoff changes every year with college and this year the cutoff went high and also few seats have increased.but with previous year analysis and your rank we can find you possibilities into the colleges.according to previous year you need to have minimum of 520+ for fetching a seat in govt colleges ,even for private the cutoff for l.n medical college was 467 but there is no guarntee you would be fetching a seat there because this time the cutoff rose and increased atleast by 30-40 marks more.so you would be having very less chances for fetching mbbs seat.for govt bds also last year cutoff was 495 which will increase this year.so you can have few chances to fetch seat in private bds.for furthur info check: https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-mp/amp

with UP domicile can I apply for government BDS in punjab with 523 marks in NEET 2020 through punjab state mop up round?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

No. For a seat in Government MBBS/BDS College, you can only try under All India Counseling. You cannot attend their State Counselling for Government Seats. The rule also applies for Mop Up round. Only those Candidates who have the domicile of the State can appear for State Counselling for Government seats in both MBBS/BDS Government Colleges. With a score of 523, you can appear for State Counselling and you might get a seat in BDS. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year.
