I passed 12th from National Open School. Can I take the NET exam?

nishant sharma 21st Jan, 2021

Hello student ,

Yes you can give this exam as NIOS is an educational board just like CBSE & CISCE. It is run by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. A candidate having NIOS certifications can appear in any national level entrance exam conducted by the Center or CBSE, like JEE (Main & Advanced), CLAT and now NEET. Since NEET is an upgraded or changed version of AIPMT & will be conducted by CBSE on behalf of the Central government of India, there should not be a problem for an NIOS student from becoming eligible to sit in the NEET exam.

Hope it helps !

When calculating your annual income, you may be asked to provide both your gross income and your net income. so when applying for scholarship are they asking for gross or net income please explain

Guljabin Quadri 15th Jan, 2021

While applying for scholarships they actually want information regarding the income that you have i.e. Gross Income.

Gross income for an individual—also known as gross pay when it's on a paycheck—is the individual's total pay from his or her employer before taxes or other deductions. This includes income from all sources and is not limited to income received in cash.

Hence it should be entered.
