OBC Reservation
Hello, hope you are safe and healthy!
There are generally two sub divisions under the OBC category, i.e Creamy layer and Non-creamy layer.
The Creamy layer is considered to be the better educated part of OBCs and hold an annual income of Rs.8 lakhs or more. They are treated as equal to the General category.
The Non-creamy layer of the OBCs comprises of the families with an annual income less than Rs.8 lakh. A certification is provided to these families to exercise all kinds of benefits and will be getting the relaxation of age in competitive exams as well.
So, both the layers are not treated equal and do not exercise reservation. Only OBC-NCL category is eligible for reservation.
Hope you are clear!
Persons with disabilities (pwd) having disabilities 40% or above degree of disability gets reservation in various exams ,jobs and other fields . For applying as a pwd candidate you must have proper paper work to prove it .You should have proper pwd certificate issued by the competent authority .
Dear student,
In such cases the applications are not cancelled of the students, but their reservation is cancelled. In your case you will be shifted to general category and will not be able to enjoy the benefits of being an obc candidate. Hope this helps.

Hey!
Yes, OBC Reservation is applicable for both Creamy and Non-Creamy Layers.
All the best!
Dear student
At first congratulations and best wishes for your result . I am afraid to say with this marks your chances to get government colleges are almost negative through All India counselling despite of OBC rank . You can still try in state counselling . Different state counselling cut offs vary from each other. You have not mentioned your state . You must go for your respective state. Though chances for you are tough in there also.

Hi Mohan,
At 93 percentile your CRL rank comes out to be around AIR 65735 - AIR 77885.
As per the previous year cutoffs for B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering branch at NIT's, at 65000 rank it is quite impossible even to get admission in any of the NITs. The cutoffs of NITs for CSE branch at NITs generally close at 20K. You may get admission in state level colleges in CSE branch or you can opt for these branches if you want a good college:-

Dear Aspirant,
Including all the IIT's,there are a total of 13376 seats in IIT.But not all the seats are available for all. There are reserved seats.Currently, reservation of 7.5%,,15% and 25% seats are reserved for candidates of SC,ST,OBC and 50% seats are available for general category but no seat is reserved.
Thank you
Hope you got your answer
Hello Aspirant,
Don't worry because now you cannot upload certificate on the place of your declaration of category certificate because you can upload it only once. There is nothing to be worry about because if you will be alloted a seat through JOSAA counselling then you have to show your caste certificate which should be issued after 01-04-2020 in the online verification of documents through alloted Institute.
