if i report in private medical college in 1st round counselling , can i upgraded to GMC in 2nd round of counselling ?

maaztauquir24 19th Jan, 2022

Hi reader ,

in case you apply for both government and private colleges counselling through all india quota then you will have to pay 2 lakh as security deposit.

now if you are alloted a private college in 1st round of counselling and you report then you can only go for upgradation in round 2. if in your preference list GMCs are above the college you are being alloted then you stand a chance of getting an upgradation from deemed / private colleges to a government medical college.

for knowing your chance of getting a college you can refer

i hope this helps

i got 173 marks in neet ug can i get a private medical college in up for mbbs and i m from general category

piyush singh 17th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant ,

I am sorry to inform you but No , with only 173 marks in NEET UG your rank will be more than 500000 and you do not even clear the cutoff for the MBBS course and you are also a general which makes situation worse . Also you will not be able to get a private seat in the state of Uttar Pradesh or even a seat in any state of India. You need minimum 500 marks for a MBBS government seat in UP.

Hope this helps.

which private medical college is better? alluri sitarama raju of andhra pradesh, or kamineni medical college of telangana?

Sohamsengupta8 16th Jan, 2022

Hello Student

Alluri sitarama Raju private medical college in Andhra Pradesh as all the education and research and teaching facilities with multi speciality hospital which is very famous in Andhra Pradesh for his teaching and service to the common people for their Health care. On the other Hand kamineni Medical science and research, Telangana is also in the track of same reputation but it has no such teaching facilities either it has the strict regulation  of education to the students a.Faculties who are most renowned in their respective fields and they always give a disciplined best education to the students which helps the student to stand in their own principle of ethics of Medical Science that is a asset to the nation.

So in comparison of the both private medical colleges alluri sitaramaraju private medical college is in my view is the best.

Hope this will help.

305 marks all India ranking 367441 can i get seat in private medical college

ADRIKA mONDAL 12th Jan, 2022

Hi,

It would have been better for the prediction if you could have provided your category which is quite a important criterion. However with the marks of 305 and the rank of 367441, the chances of getting a seat in the government medical college is not at all possible. Rather you may try for the private medical colleges through government quota seats and also management quota depending on your category. However the minimum qualifying cutoff may be

Category NEET 2021 cutoff NEET cut-off marks
General 50th percentile 720-138
SC/ST/OBC 40th percentile 137-108
General-PwD 45th percentile 137-122
SC/ST/OBC-PwD 40th percentile 121-108

I got 318 score in neet 2021,can I get admission to bams private medical college through government quota , I am in OBC category

Karishma Sawhney 9th Jan, 2022

Hello aspirant.

With 318 marks, there are very few chances for you to grab a seat in private BAMS colleges through government quota as they require at least 550+ marks, even with reservation.

However, you might be able to get a seat in the following deemed Ayurveda colleges-

1. DY Patil Ayurveda College, Pune

2. Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Ayurveda, Pune

3. Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Wardha

4. Padamshri DY Patil Ayurveda College, Navi Mumbai
