The admission of RV College of Engineering will be based on the KCET entrance result. You have to give the entrance exam and qualify for the exam in order to get admission to this college.

RV College of Engineering, Bangalore offers admission to various UG and PG programs in number of specializations. The candidates can apply to the courses online through the official college website. The courses offered are Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), M.Tech. and MCA.

In case of UG programmes, the admission is based on marks scored in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) and COMEDK UGET. For PG programs, the selection is based on marks scored in GATE or PGCET.

The application process for applying for KCET begins in the month of January every year while the application process of COMEDK starts in the month of February. The application fee of KCET exam is INR 650. The candidates applying for PG programs need to register for GATE 2019. The registration for GATE starts in the month of September. The application fee of GATE is INR 750.

A candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

· Should secure an average score of 50% in all the subjects( 45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in his or her qualifying examination from a recognized Board.

· Candidate needs to even fulfill the course-specific eligibility criteria as laid by the college.

· Scanned copies of some documents like GATE or PGCET Scorecard, 10 & 12 mark sheet, graduation mark sheets of all semesters and provisional degree certificate should be emailed to the authorities at rsst.rv@gmail.com.

· GATE qualified candidates will be granted admission as per the norms laid by the VTU.

· RV College of Engineering Admission 2019 Fee Structure

· For admissions to RVCE, a candidate needs to pay a different amount of money for this college via a different channel( CET/KEA, COMEDK or MANAGEMENT counseling). The fee structure is subject to change, every year. As the fee structure of 2019 is not out as yet, candidates can have a look at the previous year’s fee structure.

Scholarship

RV College of Engineering doesn’t have much scholarship schemes devised for its students. To offers some amount of fee concession to all the candidates applying through sports quota. Also, students belonging to financially weak backgrounds are even provided some fee relaxation from the banks( in terms of bank loans) while taking admission to this college.
