Can I get admission into Thapar Institute from my jee percentile? My JEE percentile is 94 and hometown is in Rajasthan.

Soumili Majumdar 20th Jun, 2020
Hello there,
According to the formula, [100-94*869010/100], your All India Rank is 52140 approximately. Since you haven't mentioned your category, I'm assuming that you are from the general category.
Now, the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
Analysing the previous year data, with this rank, you have good chances of getting any branch in Thapar Institute. You should give it a try.
You can also use our college predictor:

Hope this answer helps you.

Which is better for pursuing CSE, Thapar University or Manipal University?

Shivang Dubey 26th May, 2020

Hey Aryan

Manipal University and Thapar University are top multi disciplinary private institutions of India. They have various factors which are common like:

  • High Fee Structure
  • Beautiful Campus
  • Good Placements record and Alumni base
  • Facilities and Curriculum

The choice depends on you which suits you on the basis of locality and fees. Thapar University has a better placement record and impeccable academic record particularly for Computer Science branch, so you may prefer Thapar over Manipal, according to students reviews and past year statistics.

All the best

How are the placements at Thapar University?

mehul soni 12th Jun, 2020

The placement opportunity in Thapar is simply impeccable. Last year, almost 80 - 85% of students got placed with good packages in big companies like KPMG, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The average package is around 7 lakh per annum INR. The highest package goes around 40-45 lakhs. Since the faculty there have a strong corporate network, Internships provided to the students are quite good. It has a dedicated training and placement cell that makes sure that every student gets an internship.

Also, the admissions for the new batch are open now. To apply: http://lmtsm.thapar.edu/admissions/apply-online.php

how to prepare for ts eamcet in 1month

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st Mar, 2020
Hello

It's not possible to crack any competitive examination in 1 month be it EAMCET or any other if you start preparing for it from scratch so I I hope you have prepared for ts eamcet earlier.

Follow the below tips

  • First of all go through past year papers of EAMCET and analyse the topics from which questions are asked more frequently and complete all those topics as you can't complete the whole syllabus in 1 month

  • Make a routine or a time table and try to give at least 8 to 10  hours to studies and out of that 8 hours you need to devote at least 4 hours in solving numericals and mcqs

  • Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the examination hall, so you should stress on revision as well. You need to revise the concepts again and again as syllabus is wide and there are chances of forgetting concepts ,so you can make short notes in order to revise quickly

  • Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.

Good luck for your preparation
