Hi aspirant, first of all it is not a necessary to have 75% in your class 12 to get into IIIT, Vadodara. To get into IIIT, Vadodara one must have only 50% in 10+2, which is nominal according to the name of the institute, also one has to remember that the admission in IIIT is done in the basis of a valid JEE mains score.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

If you consider all this factors then you will not find any big difference between these two colleges. Both of the colleges have very good infrastructure such as labs, libraries and they are very well equipped. As you have secured 97.52 percentile in JEE mains and taking into consideration you are from general category so let me tell you that your predicted rank would be around 25k as per my knowledge.

The IIITs mentioned by you are almost one and the same if you go by the cut offs. In all these iiits the cut off for cse branch is around 21k. So, I would recommend you to go with any of these iiits with ece branch atleast because it is of no use if you would a non core branch in newer iiits like bhagalpur,bhopal.

The Common entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering program are GUJCET, JEE Mains. GUJCET is the state level entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering in Gujarat. GUJCET Rank is based on aggregate of 12th standard marks and GUJCET marks. 50% weightage of 12th marks and 50% weightage of GUJCET marks.

As you have secured 89 marks in GUJCET and 99.91 in 12th Board. This is how the calculation works.

89/120*50 = 37 + 50 Marks of 12th = 87.

The cut of Chemical Engineering in MS University for year 2021 is 252 - 560 Rank in General category . For this rank you should secure above 100 in GUJCET, Unfortunately You will not get seat in CE in this University.
