if you donot get a seat in the mop up round it is not necessary that you should join in the college allotted in 3rd round . but it is better to take admission in prior rounds of counselling to be on the safe side . because

the prepration process is the same as any other engg. entrance exam just focus on your 11 and 12 and increase your thought process.. as far as drop is concerned drop only if you are sure that you could do much better or search for alternatives
