As per your calculated score, you have fair chances of getting a seat in GMCH under state counseling. The previous years cutoff for admission was 540+ for general category. However the cutoff for admission changes depending upon factors like number of candidates appearing for the entrance exam, the difficulty level of the paper, the total number of seats available for MBBS BDS courses under state counseling and related such. As there is a difference of 40 around marks between your calculated score and previous years cutoff so you might get a seat in your desired college.

589 is a great score to enable yourself a seat in GMCH , Chandigarh.
My heartiest congratulations on securing such a score.
Although the cutoff is bound to rise this year, still with 585, you are supposed to be on the safer side.
