Dear Soham, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless in 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:
General Category: 479
OBC-A: 478
OBC-B: 474
SC: 349
ST: 183
With 497, you have a decent chance at Government Medical College seat. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. There might be a difference of give or take 25-40 marks. You can check the cut offs of various colleges in West Bengal at:
