Average package from iit automobile

Taking about placement scenario in IITs, many different types of companies visit there like consulting, software related, core , business analyst etc.. When one get into core companies,  he may hardly get CTC of more than 10 lakh. Only PSUs offer placement of more than 12 lakh and rest of private core companies may give you 6-10 lakh.

So, if you get into other types of companies your package will be more than 10 lakh for sure if you study.  But, in these companies whatever you do will not have any relationship with what you studied in four years. And in automobile companies you will remain under 10 lakh even if you study core subjects for all time.

,so it is irrelevant to check the average package of any particular branch in good IITs  rather than that check out the companies visiting that campus.
