With 158 marks, eligibility is just at the margin because the qualifying cut-off for NEET is usually around 137–150 marks for General category (and lower for SC/ST/OBC). Deemed universities are private institutions with higher fees , and they do not usually consider students with marks this low for BDS admission. So realistically, with 158, the chances are very slim even in deemed universities. You may have to consider B.Sc Nursing, paramedical, or allied health sciences courses as backup options.
