Can anyone give me review of igmc nagpur compared to vmmc solapur.Help me to decide which is better?(esp. Hostel conditions)

IGMC

Job opportunities are very good yes this is a reputed college also doctors get a job anywhere easily. Most of the students pursue post graduation after MBBS but you can practice after MBBS also and can easily and around 60000 to 70000 in government job.

Hostel facilities are very satisfactory to students are provided one room each room consists of to bed to study table to chair and to almirah. mess is also pretty satisfactory there are a number of options to choose from so it is not a problem. Postal life is also very good.

campus life is very good playground is very large but not well maintained there is swimming pool also male to female ratio is almost equal extra curricular activities are present but they are not well funded. Playground is largest amongst all medical college in India.

VMMC

Placement is the best thing about VMMC. All are placed since we need many doctors in the country. It's a medical college. There are no companies. One has to serve the state for 10 years if he's from the same state or UT. Average package cannot be taken into consideration because initial 10 years of your service, you serve for your state.

Hostels are good enough to live. Hostels are sharing for your junior years but in the final year you get single rooms. Food is okay. I won't say its too good but its okay to be eaten. No PG facility by college but one always has an option as Delhi is full of PGs. Hostel fees is very cheap. Just Rs. 500/- per month.

Not much of extra curricular activities take place in college. Opportunities are limited to medical terms only. Facilities are good.
