I do not have idea about Ramaiha Institute but being an alumnus of LPU, i will share the details for LPU.

LPU has around 2000 faculty members. Well, the study of CSE or Civil Engineering in LPU both are very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the Eligibility for B.Tech CSE, which is to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. So, qualifying the same you can directly proceed for Admissions.

yes, of course you can choose civil engineering in Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

all you have to do is bring marks above the cutoff marks in the particular entrance exam for the college and apply for counselling rounds by selecting the civil engineering branch in the institute.

note that the university is one of the best institutes in the country but the placements rates for civil dept. is not as good as it is for the CS/ECE dept.
