If you have no monetary or vicinity issues and are not getting CSE, ECE or EEE or at the most Mechanical in any of the Engineering Colleges through COMEDK in Karnataka, best option would be pursuing CSE from Lovely Professional University. Hello Student,
Both the universities you have chosen are among the best in India. However as a student you must also look into various other criterion such as, the University we are choosing must provide us deep and practical knowledge of core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the curriculum should be revised regularly to meet the company’s standard, which is very important ,after all, students look for a decent place with good exposure in an company they join and also the University’s environment.
Considering all the above points , LPU stands to be one of the best private universities there is .....
LPU has become a go-to destination for companies to hire quality students, companies like WIPRO, ITC, and other MNCs revisited the campus for the placement of students. It also has record breaking placements almost every year and the students of all the disciplines will get a best pay package

Dear Student,
Both the colleges are good in respect of their courses. Both the colleges have good infrastructure and also the facilities are good in both the colleges.
If we talk of fee structure of both the colleges than LPU has somewhat more fees for B.Tech in CSE as compared to Civil in Ramaiah Insitite of technology. In LPU it costs near about 5 lakhs for B.Tech in CSE whereas in RIT it costs near about 4 lakhs for Civil .
In terms of placements LPU is far better than RIT . The highest package in LPU from CSE branch was nearly 42 lakhs whereas in RIT from Civil branch it was about 15 lakhs.
In my opinion you can choose LPU from these two. It will be a good option. But at last the decision depends on your interest as well.
Hope it helps.
