Can I get a call from IIM Indore or Bangalore if score 99 percentile in cat.I have 89.3% in 10,79.2% in 12 from state board and 65% in grad.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
I dont want to hurt your sentiments but you academics are pretty below average standards. A typical profile willing to get into IIM B is securing a minimum of 85 percentage in 10th, 12th and graduation and a 99 plus percentile in CAT. With this score getting a call in IIM Bangalore is next to impossible. However you can get some calls from the baby IIMs.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
Hi Abhishek,
Thanks for your query. With a 99 percentile, you can definitely get through IIM Indore and IIM Bangalore. Most of the IIMs require 90 and above for admission of a candidate. Let me give you the statistics; this will help you understand the admission requirements in terms of scores-
1> IIM Indore- The cutoff for the two-year full-time PGP programme is 90 percentile for the General category candidates. The CAT cutoff for IIM Indore has remained unaltered for the past few years.
2> IIM Bangalore- The overall cutoff for General category candidates has remained almost constant at 90 percentile over past years.
