can I get nit or iiit or any good government college with 81 percentile?I am general ews and my category rank is 29k ,from bihar

you can try for your home state and lower north eastern nit's , in these college cutoff is generally lesser .

According to your rank and category , you can try for iiit's like-

1) iiit pune

2) iiit  bhagalpur

3) iiit una

4) iiit  surat

5) iiit kalyani  and other iiit's

you can also try for other gfti which take admission under josaa  like these -

1) bit mesra

2) pec chandigarh

also participate in csab, so you can get a decent branch like production and metallurgy  , in them .

Do apply for home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state .  Hence apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .

As per your category rank in bihar, you have extremely low chances for getting of any seat in any of college like in NITs or IIITs or CFTIs. Your chances even in state government college is low. So, you are left with choice of private college. So, you may think for next attempt.
