In previous years trends, an INI-CET rank of 6906 would hold little chance of obtaining a Radiation Oncology seat in spot counseling. It however depends on following factors:
- Availability of seats in this year.
- Choices/preferences of higher-ranked candidates.
- Number of seats remaining after regular rounds.
Radiation oncology (RO) is a competitive branch and the cutoff rank varies every year, in the last few years, seats have been filled even under 5000 ranks in spot round.
So, keep checking the official counseling updates , be flexible with institute choices and consider parallel options (like MD General Medicine) as backup
