Company secretary is a very prestigious job in today's competitive market. One has to clear the three levels of CS examinations held by the ICSI or institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Depending on the job you land, the salary of a company secretary can vary widely. It can be anywhere between 3,50,000/- p.a. to 16,00,000/- p.a.
The average salary for a CS lies between 6.5L p.a.
However, this isn't the highest a CS's salary can go. With experience, and reaching high posts in a MNC or a very large corporations can pay very high salaries.
