As per your query yes the eligibility criteria is removed and students need to have only pass certificate of class 12 as per the government rules due to the pandemic as many couldn't complete their exams. Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has revised its eligibility criteria for admission in NITs and CFTIs due to covid-19 pandemic. As per the revised criteria, candidates JEE Main qualified candidates only need to obtain a passing certificate for admission in CSAB participating institutes. This is done seeing the pressure due to pandemic and may be revised later.
