Hii,i am here to help you acccording to your query.Well,The admission procedure for Engineering in M.S.U (Faculty of Technology and Engineering)is responsibility under ACPC (The Admission committe of Professional Courses). Hence the merit list which is made by this authority is used for admissions. In 2012 the merit was made as combine of board examination and GujCet as 60:40 ratio which is same as of now.Here 60% is counted of PCM ( phy, chem, maths).Based on this rank admissions were granted.For other branches such as in sciences and architecture the procedure is some what different for architecture exam call NATA national aptitude test in architecture which takes into account 50% of total subjects in 12th and 50% of NATA exam.
