How can I get admission in it?

Dear Diya,
You need to go through the usual admission procedure.

Fill the online/offline common admission form. For Stephens & JMC you need to fill separate forms that are available on their website.

For Sports Quota- You need to clear the centralised fitness test first and then apply to individual college.

For ECA- Please keep a track of audition dates of colleges.

Else-Wait for the cut offs.

Incase you clear the cut offs, go to the college. Following are the list of documents required(I'll try to be as accurate as possible):

Passport Size Photographs-Carry a few of them.

10th &12th Marksheet.

Migration Certificate(Incase you're not from Delhi)

Character Certificate

Provisional Certificate

Transfer Certificate

THE APPLICATION FORM FOR DU(Most students tend to forget this one.)

Carry ORIGINAL and Two Photocopies of each and self attest the photocopies.(carrying a few extra does no harm)

I guess for Reservations you need to carry your caste certificate or some sort of proof, not sure though!

And please try to carry CASH for the payment of fees. The ATMs inside colleges generally don't work or are overcrowded.

One EXTREMELY IMPORTANT thing to note is that you have to take admission in the cutoff in which your percentage is between the range as published by college. For example, if your percentage is 95% and a college declares its first cutoff at 94% then you are obliged to take admission in first cutoff. You can take admission in second cutoff, but only on the last day of the specified cutoff and on discretion of college. So don't take risk and take admission in the cutoff you clear.

After paying the fee for first year, take printout, atleast 10, of the fee receipt and carry them with you along with your passport size photos. This will save you from a lot of trouble especially if you taking admission in RLA, MOTILAL, ARYABHATTA where you have to run either to Satya Niketan or Vasant Gaon to take print-outs.

As far as I remember that is all required.
