Hi there , in order to take admission in CSE stream , you need to qualify LPUNEST entrance test . Only 12th percentage is not enough and you must pass your previous qualification with 60% also . The eligibility criteria is - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST .

. LPUNEST is a National Level Test for Eligibility and Scholarship. It is based on JEE mains pattern. The exam will be of total 400 marks with the duration of 2:30 hours and it consist all MCQ type questions without any negative marking. The subjects for exam will be English, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, Math/Biology.

Minimum marks for LPUNEST is 40 % and it all depends on the number of seats available and students appearing in the exam. You need to show your XIIth score card which should be Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^.

LPU floats more than 250 programmes out of which B.Tech is one among them. The eligibility is Pass 60% + LPUNEST.

LPUNEST serves two purposes i.e eligibility and scholarship. The test consists of 420 marks out of which just to be eligible  40% is required. There are three slabs of scholarship i.e 40%, 30% and 20% depending upon the caliber of the students. Better you perform , higher you will possess.

So, in order to take admission in LPU in B.Tech, you should get minimum 60 % in +2 and has be eligible in LPUNEST.

As per the information got from my peers, they said the seats are filled on the badis of first come first serve basis,so getting the benefit of maximum scholarship and seat in your desire course, you can take admission before 30th April 2020 as it is the last date to avail admission.

yes,the LPU conducts the entrance exam for the adimissions of engineering,law,management etc., known as LPU NEST. it needs your +2 marks.the candidate must be of indian nationality and should passed in any board of +2 with 60% aggregate marks,physics,maths and english must be the compulsory subjects in their +2 group(pcm/pcb).
