Communication skills inside or outside of LPU need to be worked upon on your own. If you find a good english or soft skills teacher, they can always guide you. Install an english news channel app in your phone, read a book or a newspaper whichever suits you, try to converse with your friends in english as and when feasible this will help you improve both the language and the communication part.

The center for professional enhancement kicks into action within a few days of batch start. Normally the colleges/universities start preparing the students for placements in the last semester. LPU does the reverse, it starts from the first day!

Center for professional enhancement works on personality development, communication skills, interpersonal skills, right cultural sensibilities, work ethics, virtues and mannerisms.

School of English works on the weak students to improve their diction, grammar and confidence building.

I think this all reflects in the huge placements of LPU in almost all the big blue chip companies.

Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements.

Add on classes for the students who are weak in English.

Communication skills are your personal way of communication and it is based on your way of developing the skills. You learn and improve your Communication skills by practising and that should come from within you as how you develop your communication skills. Of course the Institution you join has an impact on your communication skills in the way you are taught English and how you interact with your peers. But it has got nothing to do with comparing 2 Institutions. An Institution is a non living thing and it cannot have communication skills.
