As per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package.

1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs.

See LPU is a private college which gives education in the engineering discipline for pusuing the btech career. Since it is a private college so the modern fields like CSE , IT , ECE these branches would be best in these colleges. Talking about the core branches that doesn't seem that much pretty attractive in the placements scenario of the college.
