As per my own elder brother experience, instead of wondering about the ‘quality’ of the placement at the university, you should be thinking about your overall development at the end of a course.
I understand that you are joining a university in order to get a prosperous career, but you should also be ready to do the work for it.
Whether it is ECE or CSE, you need to be ready to put in some hard work to learn and grow instead of having a goal to be placed in a big organisation, the rest will follow.
As far as LPU is concerned, I know by personal experience of my elder brother that the faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and facilities are more than good. The university even holds classes for soft skills, so students can be best prepared to face interviews. Some of the biggest recruiters names I shared above.
Overall, LPU offers its students every chance to not only be successful in their fields, but to excel in them. LPU doesn’t only focus on placements (though the placement rounds at LPU are quite known all over), they aim to provide students with all the skills they need and more in order to succeed in their field. Here, you will be offered all the opportunities that you need to grow. The rest however, whether you make use of those opportunities or muck it up, is completely up to you. A lakh student won’t be able to get good placements even if they were interviewing at the top companies, while a hard working student will be able to grow wherever they are.
In short, according to my own experience, LPU will do everything they can to ensure you get a good job and can build a strong career, but the real question is – are you prepared to put in the effort that is needed to make sure you don’t let these opportunities go to waste?
Average package you can expect after completion of mtech from LPU around 3-4 LPA.
In his batch, there were students who pursued the ECE program with a clear objective in their mind, and they used to work hard to fulfill the same. For example, he told me some of his friends needed a job to support their families, while some of them wanted to commence their own venture and some wanted to implement innovative strategies in order to expand their existing family business. Also, a couple of them went for higher studies and thus seek better opportunities.
To answer your question, I would say that LPU not only focuses on academics and placements, but also aims to provide overall development to each student. Here, each student is provided with the required training according to their career choices. Whether a student wants to get in the corporate or government sector, start their own venture, or pursue higher studies, they will be trained accordingly so that they can excel in their desired career pathway.
There exist more than 3600 faculty & staff members imparting education at LPU. Many of them come from IITs, NITs and renowned International universities such as Harvard & Stanford. Studying at LPU is not just limited to textbooks and classrooms. Students get to learn through live projects and experiments.
.LPU has ultra-modern high-tech labs dedicated to every department, smart classrooms, the country's largest auditorium, Olympic-ready sports complex, shopping mall, hospital, and students run hotel. All these provide students with an apt environment to gain real-time experience and grow.

Hey!
See, LPU has all the basic infrastructure and other facilities for its students including highly qualified faculty members and it also has a good placement record but only for undergraduation programmes such as BTech or BSc. But if you want to pursue M.tech then try to join IIts or NITs or any other colleges which offers good opportunities for M.tech students such as UPES, MSRIT banglore, MIT, IISc banglore, DTU etc.
