There are certain programs for which only pass marks are needed while for the B Tech programs, 60 percent in class 12 is required. For BBA and BBA 50 percent is needed while for the for BBA Hons 60 percent marks are required. For B COm and B COm Hons the percentage is 50 and 60 percent respectively.

LPU offers Diploma/Degree courses at various levels like after 10th, after 12th, after Graduation, after Post graduation with differential eligibility norms. In few courses  LPUNEST may be mandatory or in some courses it may be optional. LPUNEST is Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test which serves two purposes i.e. eligibility and scholarship.

a.For the courses which are floated after 10th LPUNEST is not mandatory, it is only written for scholarship

b.There are some courses after 12th ,after graduation  and after post graduation where you have to appear in LPUNEST for eligibility and scholarship and few where you can drop the LPUNEST.

You will get admission in LPU college with at least 50% marks in your 12 ^th board exam. But then you will have to clear the LPU-NEST exam they conduct for the students, if you can do better in this test you can avail the scholarship too.
