IITs, IIITs and NITs offers different courses. Here is the detail of duration of such courses offered by them in years and semester.

BTech- 4year/8semester

MTech-2 year/ 4 semester

BTech+MTech Dual degree- 5years/ 10 semester

BTech+MBA Dual- 5 years/10 semester

MSc- 2year/ 4 semester

PHD- 5 years/ 10 semester

In India BTech has 8 semesters. So completing BTech from IIT, NIT, IIIT or any other Engineering College will require 8 semesters. And the course will complete in 4 years. 2 semesters per year are assigned.
