How much is required to get a sit in NEET medical if one is sc?
Dear Tanushree,
With regard to your question requesting for cut offs in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, please find the details below:
-
For West Bengal
- As per NEET 2017 trends (subject to change in 2018), you would have needed to score a minimum of 316 marks to secure a MBBS seat as a SC candidate in West Bengal. The candidate who secured the same this year was allotted KPC Medical College, Jadavpur.
Under All India Quota, you would have required a score of 447 and would have been allotted Murshidabad Medical College.
-
For Chennai
(assuming you are only asking for colleges in the city and not the state of Tamil Nadu) - A score of 206 was required for the last Tamil Nadu domicile SC candidate to secure a MBBS seat in NEET 2017. The candidate was allotted ESI-PGIMSR Medical College, Chennai.
Under All India Quota, you would have required a score of 457 and would have been allotted the same college.
I hope the above information helps. All the best!
Hopefully it helps
