Nikhil inorder to get into the the range of 2k - 3k you should have the approximate score of 230 - 270 marks in the JEE mains if you are a General Category student and for the other categories it may get vary depending upon the category wise cuttoff . So gear your preparation on the top level such that you can achieve the branches in the college's like NIT / IIT / IIIT / CFTI Institution.

To get in 2000-3000 rank you should score 250+ marks .
And one thing you must remember that this time you will get 2 chance or every one will get 2 chance so competition will be more .
So better to score as much as you can with your all preparation and dedication.
So score 270 + marks because statistics can be vary.
