Admission is open right now. Admission for BCom is done on merit basis, no entrance exam is conducted for this.

Eligibility Criteria is as follows-

Admission to B.Com.-Ist semester shall be open to those  who have passed+2 or equivalent examination (conducted National by a recognized Board/Council/University) with

(a) Three of the following subjects securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate.

• (i) Commerce (or theory of commerce or foundation
• course in commerce)
• (ii) Accountancy (or book keeping and accountancy)
• (iii) Economics
• (iv) Business Organisation (or Business Management or
• Theory and Practice of Management).
• (v) Insurance (or General Insurance or Life Insurance)
• (vi) Banking and Trade
• (vii) Commercial Geography
• (viii) Office Management and Secretarial Practice (or Office Organization and Management)
• (ix) Mercantile Law (or any Company Law) Auditing
• (x) Typewriting and Stenography/Computers (for typewriting)

(b) Two of the above mentioned subjects securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate, provided the candidate has passed English at +2 examination. In cases where passing in English is not necessary according to the regulations of certain Boards/Bodies/Councils/Universities in India, the admission of the candidate shall be provisional and will be confirmed only after he /she has cleared the subject of English as a deficient subject from the parent Board/Body/Council/University in two consecutive chances subsequent to his/her admission.

A candidate can pursue B.Com. (Honours) course by taking (Honours) up one paper each in four semesters beginning with 3rd semester in any of the streams offered from time to time. To be eligible to take up honours course a student should have secured 50% marks at the end of Second Semester without reappear in any paper The minimum number of marks requied to pass B.Com. (Honours) course shall be 40% in each paper separately as well as jointly with internal assessment and 50% in the aggregate in the University examination.

Last Date for filling up of online Admission Form is 10th July, 2019.

Last Date for Submission of Hard/Printed Copy of  Admission Form and relevant documents at UILS,PU is 13 th July, 2019.

Display of tentative merit list on 19th July, 2019.

Date for inviting objections regarding Merit firmed up on thebasis of already filled up information by the Candidate through email only(uglaw@pu.ac.in) is 20th July, 2019.

Display of Provisional Merit List on 22nd July, 2019.
