How's the course B.A. hons English from DU? What are the career options, salary package, internships, placements etc.?

Du is one of the best institutions for english hons. However they do not specifically put much emphasis on placements they do have placement cells and they do offer on campus placement but for that you need to put your own efforts if you're active and alert of whats going around then you'll be able to get a lot, they wont come to you you have to go to them.
