You can get admission into du if you clear the entrance. Preparing and being able to clear the entrance are two different things. Also it depends on the University and their criteria of admission whether they select a candidate of not. However you can prepare for the entrance from any source including previous yr papers which are very helpful. The important part is you should be thorough with the syllabus of Physics of bachelors to clear the entrance. And then if you meet all other standards you can get into DU.

Doing previous years' questions does add an edge to your preparation strategy but you should not be solely focused on doing that because you belong to an unreserved category and the cut off for general category is generally high every year. So you need to be well prepared on the subject rather than relying on previous year question papers.

practicing previous year question paper can help you understand the pattern and repeated practice od several papers will increase your chance of getting admission if you pay proper attention but it will not guarantee admission for you in the college. i hope you understand what i am trying to explain here.
