Hello student,
Hope you're doing well.
Gupta college asansol offers a 4 year bachelor's degree in pharmacy as a full time programme.
The placements at the college are considerably okay. Last year, 17% of the batch was placed. Companies like sun pharma, cipla, abott, dabur etc: visited the campus. Highest package offered was around 2.8-3 L and the median salary was 2.1 Lakhs.
You can also prepare for government job exams for drug inspector and hospital pharmacists. They have a good pay and are highly respected.
However, after completing the bpharm, you can also go for higher studies such as MBA and Mpharm. After Mpharm you can go for research and development in pharmaceutical sector and also pursue phD, if you want to become a professor. If you're interested in sales and marketing of medicines, you can opt for MBA in pharmaceutical management which will fetch you good jobs with a good salary and respect.
