Out of total seats 45% of the seats are filled by the CET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)

Lack of interaction with the seniors is the main reason we don’t get to know what to do with engineering. Please go interact with teachers and ask HOD to arrange a interaction session with the outgoing seniors and ask them how did they spend their engineering and they will be very happy to advice you.

“Don’t sail on two boats at the same time”- Make your stance clear and work towards it. If you don’t know what after Engineering go to teachers and interact with them and network around.

Stay with people who are heading towards same goals - Make friends with people who have similar mindset as you and who are heading towards similar destiny as you are.link

You cannot be the Amir Khan of “3-idiots”- Understand the reality and marks do matter a lot. Have a CGPA of 8.5+ which is sufficient for placements. At the same time don’t be like a frog in the well , “ life is beyond internals”, be an active member of different technical clubs and learn and contribute things.

Participate in different technical events and try and develop your skills , attend workshops and try and do some research in the field you are interested in . try to publish some papers and build you resume and character as well.

I was a day scholar , I don’t think I am the right person to speak about the hostel life . But, I have heard from my friends that they is a lot of fun in hostel.

Make good friends who can be with you till the rest of your life, never spend time on wrong people.
