    I am getting B.Tech in CSE and IT both options for Manipal(MIT) karnataka , for which one should i go? Which branch has highest median package? I AM TALKING ABOUT MEDIAN/AVERAGE PACKAGE NOT THE HIGHEST !

    Both the branch at present are the best in terms of placement. In IT you will learn related to software. But in computer science engineering you will learn both software and some form of hardware too, with operating system,  etc..

    So, you can choose for CSE over IT.
