I get 80% marks in HS examination & my webjee rank is 1061 in sc quota, although I am not selected for any sit allotment.why sir ?

As you mentioned that your sc rank is 10561 and 80% in HS examination let me tell you that your 12th marks are just an eligibility criteria. It has got nothing related with you getting a seat in the college.

There is one such possibility that you might have gone through for which you are not able to get a seat in any college. The choice filling which was done by you and colleges and branches that you have given there had not reached the cut off till your rank.

Secondly, there can be a technical glitch . If you are sure that you should get a seat as per the previous year cut off then you should contact the WBJEE authorities. If they are still unable to answer your query you can comment in the comments section for your problem.

Please note that seat allotment is done based on your merit in WBJEE 2018. No weightage is given to marks scoerd in 10+2 when preparing the merit list, apart from confirming your eligibility.

As for why you are not alloted a seat, it might be because there were candidates who were candidates ranked higher than you who have been allotted seats.

Let me also tell you that there a third round of seat allotment will be announced on July 4. So, there is a chance you might be included in that allotment list.
