To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST.
You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud.
You can join LPU by appearing in LPUNEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19.
The fee structure for B.Tech in CSE at LPU is Rs 98000 per semester without scholarship.
I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:
1.On the basis of marks in previous class

Hello Nikhil

- LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)
- Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)
- Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
- Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions
- For Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable)
- (CAPF) personnel and their dependants
- Toppers of Education Board
- Scholarship for Orphan Applicants
- Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability
Scholarship phases
The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes Admission in the University. Admissions in LPU is done in different Phases, which are bifurcations of the Admission time period. Phase I starts as early as January and continues till the end of April. The subsequent phases (Phase II, III, IV) are conducted only if the seats in the concerned Programme remain vacant. The amount of Scholarship reduces with each passing phase and no Scholarship is offered in Phase IV (if conducted).
The categories of scholarship are based upon performance in LPUNEST (B.Tech.) with maximum scholarship of ₹ 80000/- per annum to the toppers. The cut-off for each category will be announced along with the result of respective schedule.
Phase 1 50% of the programme fee
Phase 2 40% of the programme fee
Phase 3 30% of the programme fee
This is different in eery brackets
Scholarship criteria
Fee of B.Tech Programme is Rs. 69500/- per semester (i.e. 1,39,000/- per year) and the residential fee (residence) for two Seater Non-AC is Rs. 54500/- per year . If a student enrolled in B.Tech and with a 2 seater Non-AC residential facility receives a scholarship of Rs. 1,00,000/- per year at the time of admissions and later on also gets a Scholarship of Rs. 1,20,000/- per year from some outer agency , then the maximum entitlement for scholarship offered by LPU for such student shall be Rs. 62,000/- per year, obtained by subtracting Scholarship from Outer agency i.e. 1,20,000/- from total fee of the programme i.e. Rs. 1,82,000/- (1,39,000/- + 43000/- = 1,82,000/- ).
Hope you are satisfied with my answer
All the best!
