In 2020 session, Fee structiure for Btech is Rs 98000 per semester without any scholarship. Fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depends on the Scholarships if any is applicable.

Scholarship Categories: As per their LPU, Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:

1. Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification : (for example 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes). The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. For example, someone seeking admission in B.Tech can seek scholarship on the basis of 10+2 (Eligibility Qualification) or 10th (Qualification previous to 10+2). Augmenting support to deserving candidates, LPU has further expanded the scholarship bracket to even facilitate candidates scoring a minimum of 70% marks during the COVID-19 pandemic national lockdown period.
2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)
3. LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)
4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions
   • For Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable)
   • Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants
   • Toppers of Education Board
   • Scholarship for Orphan Applicants
   • Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability

LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU.

LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-

• The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelor’s degree, LPU will be considering the 12 ^th marks or 10 ^th marks whichever will be higher.
• LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship.
• Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
• Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
• Board Toppers and many more.

From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable and that amount will be reduced from your fee.

Hi Nikhil!!! The course fee for Btech in LPU is Rs 1,26,000 per annum. The hostel rooms are divided into 6 seater,5 seater,4,3,2 and 1 seater rooms each with option of AC and non-AC. The fee amount is quite huge. But If you have cleared their lpunest with a good score then you may get a discount . For BTech program the fees is 126000 per annum . Thus total tuition fee becomes around 5.04 lacs . And around 93000 per annum as hostel fees.
