    local area category means:If he or she has studied in the educational institutions in the state for a period of not less than seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he or she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to Local area where he or she studied for the maximum period out of a period of seven years.for detail:https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ts-eamcet-eligibility-criteria

    I studied in TS right from start to 8th standard. I had completed my 9th & 10th standard and also  intermediate in ap. Now am I  eligible to study in TS?

    In the question itself it is mentioned non local clearly . Then the point of local category doesn't arise. So please answer treating as non local candidate

    Hello,
    Yes you can get ECE branch in Hyderabad with your eamcet rank but you may not get seat in top colleges
    Because non local reservation is only 15%
