In certain courses LPUNEST is mandatory, like if your are seeking admission in B.Tech, MBA  courses then LPUNEST is madatory, without LPUNEST you are not eligible for admission, However in certain courses like BA, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory, you can get admission based on your previous qualification.

Hi Hemant, the university has not released any guidelines pertaining to admission in engineering programs on the basis of JEE score. So I would suggest you appear for LPUNEST and get admission in the program of your choice.

LPUNEST exam syllabus is based on the knowledge of your last qualification. The topics you have covered or have already studied in your last qualification will be included. Syllabus varies with programme to programme. For the details you may visit the website.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. Despite your JEE percentile, you can definitely apply for Lovely Professional University. LPU conducts its own entrance exam called LPU NEST, which is easier than JEE. If you have an aggregate of 60% and above in your 10+2 you will be eligible for LPU NEST and hence can apply for LPU.
