I got 95.6% in boards and 49 marks in JEE as I had not prepared for JEE in class 11 and 12. Should I join KIET/Shiv Nadar or drop a year?

I hope u had also applied for ip and if u have scored 95 in boards ur ip rank i think is good u should take admission and prepare for the jee another side
