I got 97 percent in top-4 if I include Hindi as language sub ....whereas if I include English as lang it becomes 93.12 percent ...

Dear vivek, you can use your marks of Hindi to calculate the Best four percentage. So your top 4 percentage that will be used for admission in Delhi university is 97%.
At 97%, you will definitely get a good college. There are very few colleges for geography Hons. in DU. The top college for geography Hons. is Kirori mal college which is situated in North campus and at 97%, you have a very good chances of getting KMC.

But then may I opt for studying English language during my academics as language ....I don't want to hindi now ...would there be deduction of 2.5 percent ....if I choose English in honours time

No there would be no such deduction, you can use English as your academic language during BA Geography.
