i got a rank of 28692 in viteee 2019. will i be able to get CSE in VIT Chennai?

Sorry you are not eligible to get cse in any of the VITs.
You should prepare hard and try any other exams.
Candidates securing a rankbetween 7500- 27500will be eligible for admissions to CS and IT in Vellore campus.
The previous years closing ranks for VIT Vellore and Chennai are given below:
VIT Vellore - Computer Science and Engineering - 7000 (2016) - 15000 (2017)
VIT Vellore - Information technology - 12000 (2016) - 17000 (2017)
VIT Chennai - Computer Science and Engineering - 14000 (2016) - 33000 (2017)
