• Shree Bhawan has four seater, three seater, two seater and single rooms to accommodate the pupil teachers, the students of the Master’s programme and scholars of the Doctoral programmes.
• Shakti Bhawan has three dormitories and one double seater to accommodate the students of various categories.
• Shree Bhawan has 23 seats in all and Shakti Bhawan has 24 seats.
• The candidate should be a full time bonafide student of the Central Institute of Education.
• Hostel accommodation is not given to any part-time students as they are employed, and the hostels are subsidized by the University.
• Admission to candidate is offered on the basis of merit, need, and distance from home. A certificate of good conduct and character is also a requirement.
• Fresh applications are to be submitted in consequent years, if the resident joins a higher programme of study in the Institution.
• Applications for admission to the hostels should be made on the prescribed form available on cie.du.ac.in
• Admission to the Hostel will be made subsequent to admission to the Department.
