I have 86.712 percentile in jee main January..any chance of NIT Srinagar under home state quota( general category)..

As per your percentile your ranking will be 113000 -117000.
Based on this percentile you easily able to fetch seat in NIT Srinagar.
As you have home state quota,you have more higher chances of fetching seat here.
You able to get chemical, Electrical,ECE, IT, mechanical, Metallurgy department.

If you want to do computer science department than you can choose IT as it is similar to computer science department and cutoff is lower as compare to Computer science engineering.
IT have just 2 - 3 subject which are not common with CSE otherwise it is totally similar.

I am sorry to say that, your rank is below the rank which is requires for admission in NIT Srinagar. But you may go for a state engineering colleges with this score. Hope there will be a chance for you.

Your percentile is good but as per the last year cutoffs you have a good chance of getting it to NIT. The thing which may come into mind will be the branch you can get,you may have compromise with your branch or you go for other NITs for good branch.So,it depends on you where to go.
